Fire Starter Fob

Zombie vampires hate people who are prepared...people who can start a fire without matches. So I combined an Aurora Fire Starter with a snake knot fob to create a very stylish camping survival device. This will be given as a gift...but I can make more.

Product Display Thing

I've was struggling with determining how to best display the ZVA Survival Straps (no longer called bracelets cuz guys don't wear bracelets), when I saw a video on how to decorate a handle. I had a piece of wood pole that I use for practicing Scout knot tying that looked like just the right size to hang ZVA Straps on. I used the remaining crappy 450 paracord and added a length to hang it up.  Turned out pretty kewl...

Have Faith

I made the cross and prayer knot necklaces for my life long friend and pseudo sister Jeunee. Jeunee is a priest at St. Anne's Episcopal Church in Appomatox, VA. The knotted prayer cord has a long history. The first written information we found is the year 600 when Irish monks set 150 knots on a cord to count the Psalter (Psalms).  

Also, created this fob on behalf of my brother-in-law's wife Jaimie. It's a combination of a diamond knot, beads, and prayer knots. The color of the beads have special meaning often found on Wordless bracelets.

Keep in mind, crosses are a great defensive weapon against zombie vampires.

The Miles Collection

The Miles collection was named after Miles Davis's famous composition Blue and Green (one of my favorites).  These bracelets were made on request of a cashier at a local shop.  The final product was a major improvement in how I tie multi-color paracord braclets. Instead of the typical method of joining two different colors of paracord and then tying the joined cord around separate cord, I used two separate cords and a special knotting technique to create a continous bracelet. The result is a better survival bracelet that is not weakened by melting two pieces of cord, but offers separate pieces of cord at full strength that can be unwound in the event of a ZVA (zombie vampire apocalypse).

A Collection of Fobs

Fobs are fun to make and help you easily grab something that needs to be grabbed. Keys, flashlights, pocket knives, anti-zombie spray are all good candidates for a fob. Fobs also offer a new opportunity for me to try a new knot tying technique (I prefer the term 'knot' over 'weave'). Fobs are also a way to use up those pesky scraps of paracord from other projects.
